"As Mayor for the City of Buckeye, a former Glendale Community College Student and a father of two kids who attend community college, I am proudly supporting the passage of Proposition 486 on November 5th," said Mayor Eric Orsborn. "Community Colleges are vital for students pursing higher degrees after high school, workforce training and continuing education courses. Without easy access to community colleges -- which are often the most affordable option for families with college aged kids, the possibility of higher education quickly fades away. Without the workforce training we are less competitive as a region.  Without continuing education quality of life goes down.  I have seen the positive effect Estrella Community College has had on the West Valley and I hope all members of our community continue to have access to the district."
